These beads are handmade, one by one out of natural deer antler. Each bead has been sanded with the edges smoothed. These have all been polished with a buffing compound to help give them a slight shimmer. The polish is mild though and does not overwhelm or take away from the natural woodland look.
These are great for one of a kind crafting projects. The thread holes are 1/8 inch, good for thicker cord without leaving too much room for a loose wobble. 98% of the thread holes have been drilled through the center of the bead with only a very few through the side allowing the center to be shown.
These very slightly in color, shape and size. It is made from natural material which has a mind all its own. The average size is about 1 cm, some may be slightly larger or smaller. Some are more oblong than others.

Antler is very durable and can be washed. Nonetheless, it is also a natural material that may decompose over time. To extend the life of the antler over exposure to water, sun and chemicals should be avoided.
